The audio launch of Chikku Bukku, which has Arya and Shriya playing the lead roles, will be launched in July or August 2010. This film is directed by Manigandan, who took over the rein of the film Dhaam Dhoom after director Jeeva's untimely death during the shooting of that film in Russia.

Preetika Rao, sister of Bollywood star Amrita Rao, will make her debut with Chikku Bukku.

Camera has been cranked by R.B. Gurudev, dialogues are written by S. Ramakrishnan, and lyrics are penned by Padmashree Valee, Pa. Vijay and music is by Colonial Cousins Hariharan and Leslie. Rekha Chinni Prakash and Dinesh are the choreographers.

A press release about this film states, "The film is a romantic travelogue, which starts in London and ends in Karaikudi. The shooting took place in around trendy areas of London, scenic locales of Mysore, Coonoor and traditional houses of Karaikudi."
