A grand party was hosted by "Kambakkht Ishq" producer Sajid Nadiawala, in Mumbai, to celebrate the success of his film. In addition to lead stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, Bollywood biggies such as Salman Khan, Govinda, Sridevi, Katrina Kaif, Preity Zinta and Priyadarshan attended the function.

Akshay affirms, "It"s a party to celebrate the success of Kambakkht Ishq. Kareena, Sajid and I are hosting it together. But it"s not just a celebration for the film but also for our film industry which suffered losses worth Rs 250 crore because of the multiplex strike. It"s good that films like New York and Kambakkht Ishq are doing well. It"s great news for our industry."
