A special show of Yudham Sei was organized for Rajinikanth and the Superstar was thrilled at the outcome. He heaped lavish praises on the film's director Mysskin, and actors Cheran and YGee Mahendran for playing their roles to perfection. For the first time in his career Cheran plays a CBI officer and is being appreciated for his performance by all those who have seen the film thus far.
